Chris Hadfield is the Flight Engineer on Expedition 34, and is currently living in the International Space Station, in orbit about 250 miles over Earth's surface. He will be spending the next six months on the space station, and has been tweeting his journey, including these great images from orbit.

He launched into space on the Soyuz capsule on Dec. 19, 2012. His objectives are to carry out scientific experiments, perform robotic tasks, and in March 2013 Hadfield will be the first Canadian Commander of the Space Station during Expedition 35.

Here are some of the amazing pictures he's tweeted so far, mostly taken today. Follow him on twitter @Cmdr_Hadfield.
