Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield has been tweeting photos from space ever since he arrived on the International Space Station last December.
Although the commander recently returned to Earth he just blasted out this incredible image of the Himalayas to his nearly 100 million Twitter followers.
The caption reads: "Tortured rock where India crashed into Asia and pushed up the Himalayas."
More than 250 million years ago, Earth's landmasses were smushed into one super continent called Pangea. The Himalayas formed when the Indian tectonic plate rammed into the Eurasian plate.
